Business opportunities in China

Here is a list of sports business opportunities i see currently in China that might have a chance to succeed over the next 5 years.

Education training (need to be certification program)
- Sports sponsorship
- Event management
- Athlete management
- Motorcar racing team development and management

Motorcar racing
- Driving school set up leading to international certification
Note : business case doesnt work if you fly expert from Europe or US. Need to be based locally.

Book publishing
- Consumer do not buy expensive book yet but many high end club membership are looking to provide value to members. High end print of glossy picture book printed in China , sponsor by few brand can reach target market through distribution by membership club.

Ice Hockey
It is a priority for the government. after the Beijing olympic Ice hockey will receive a lot of attention.
- Infrastructure ( arena) , zamboni etcc. In the north of CHina Harbin, Liaonning, Beijing, tianjin)
- equipments . opportunities for JV in China for skates, gloves Helmet, pad etc...
- TV broadcasting. I have already provincial TV stations that confirmed there intent to braodcast NHL hockey . They just dont know where to start. Its not the convential deployment on tv in China as the TV stations are controlled y government so need a different business model.

Curling
- Its also on the top of their list. They figure out that they can win gold medal at curling very quick so anything related to this sport is well position

There is more but those are the most obvious
