Hi Terri,

I am working as a summer intern for a company called Flimp Media that develops web video marketing and analytics technology. Looking at your line of work, it seemed like Flimp could be valuable for your marketing efforts.

Flimp has made it very easy and inexpensive to create, distribute and track web video marketing campaigns for event promotion, fundraising, alumni connections, recruiting, selling merchandise, and player profiles. My guess is that a company like Nike, Gatorade, etc. would be interested in branding your outbound "flimps" to reach your fan base. They could underwrite your campaigns, costing your dept. nothing. We have many client examples and case studies on our website at www.flimp.net.

If you are interested in using web video marketing, I’m sure we can set up a trial account for you.

We have recently been in contact with other colleges such as Duke University, Villanova University, Syracuse University, and Davidson University. Thanks for your time and please let me know if you have questions or would like some more information.

I would be happy to show you some examples of recent 'flimps.' Thanks, Allie

Hi Terri

We have some interesting opportunities for live college football games for the major conferences and top 25 for the fall.

We covered al major bowls the last two years (six in-stadium game promos) and Wild Card toSuperbowl, now branching out to season long initiatives for live branded text massaging prediction games and companion microsites. Launching our own destination site in August.

I would like to learn about what you do for IMG.

Terry!

I'd love to bounce a couple ideas to you, when you get a chance. I work for a .com startup called Zazzle.com (30 minutes south of San Francisco) which has a pretty amazing site, and on top of all the items we have, -EVERYTHING is produced and shipped in 24 hours or less.

I've spent quite a bit of time in the college sports arena and was on the sideline with my 15 year old son for the UT/Nebraska game...

Please track me down @ scott.pelluer@zazzle.com at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,

Scott

Thanks for the welcome. I am a huge Longhorn fan. You should check out Longhorn Nation if you too are a longhorn fan.

Right now I am not working on the .com side. Once it is rolled out, I am sure I will have some role over there. We are doing a lot of cool things in the coming months.

I didn’t get to attend the MIT Sports Analytics Conference, but my friends at NBA sent me their notes. One of the panels focused on social media.
